Transfer Station

The Recycling Center will be reopening on  Tuesday, June 2, 2020.

*****************************************

Due to the COVID-19 crisis that has gripped our country and region, the Selectmen are aware that some common household items may be temporarily unavailable for purchase at local retail outlets.

As a result, the selectmen have temporally suspended the “clear bag” requirement at the Oxford Transfer Station.

It’s common knowledge that clear bags are effective in reducing the amount of garbage that ends up at a landfill and encourages people to recycle. If you have access to clear trash bags, please continue to use them.
