The Town of Oxford is seeking bids for a 2018/2019, 4 wheel drive, and extended cab pickup.  For Specifications follow link below or may be obtained by request at the Town Office.   All Bids must be in writing, signed by the bidder, sealed, clearly marked and submitted to the Town Office by 3:00 pm on August 30th, 2018 at which time and place all proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud.  The Selectmen reserve the right to reject any and/or bids.

Patrol Officer

The Town of Oxford, Maine is currently accepting applications for a full-time Police Officer.  Candidates must be at least 21 years of age, or meet state requirements at the age of 20, hold a valid Maine driver’s license and at the minimum possess a high school diploma.

Duties and responsibilities of the full time officer are to enforce all criminal, civil and motor vehicle laws of the State of Maine of behalf of the Town of Oxford.  Also included but not limited to, patrol the town, issue citations or warnings, arrest criminal offenders, prepare reports, creating an maintaining a feeling of security in the community, promoting and preserving the peace and providing other services on an emergency basis.

The Town of Oxford offers a competitive salary and benefit package.  Prior law enforcement experience is preferred but not required.
